Get ready, Get prepared for ZONTA’s famous birthing kit assembly night!
Did you know that only HALF of women in developing countries receive the recommended healthcare during pregnancy? And that maternal MORTALITY is still 15x HIGHER in these countries compared to developed nations?
ZONTA’s birthing kits are a simple, effective way of ensuring women in disadvantaged communities receive the basic hygienic tools and objects needed for a normal birth to ensue! Help us put together as many kits as possible on June 9th whilst being treated to food, and the enthralling speaker: Dr Gracie Vivian who will talk about the use of birthing kits in developing countries and how they are making a difference; as well as her experience with Hamlin Fistula Hospital Ethiopia.
This is a fantastic event, so come on down to FJ Clarke on the 9th of June to listen to the fantastic Dr Vivian, enjoy some food and warm fuzzies, whilst assisting in the compilation of birthing kits – all for a beautiful cause!
See you all there!
